Core Health Club is a major sponsor of the Frankston City Councils Emerging Athlete Program that supports local sportspeople under 18 years, competing at a regional, state or national level.
Local junior athletes or teams can nominate to be selected for the program throughout the year. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the links below.
At the conclusion of the year long program 12 finalists are chosen from the 36 nominees. Each of the finalists receive $1000 including a $500 contribution from Frankston City Council and $500 donated by a local business.
Core Health Club also donates a 12-month VIP membership to one outstanding emerging athlete and a three-month membership to each of the nominees. Last year Core Health Club gaveover 50 x 3 month memberships to local young athletes as well as a 12 month membership to the overall winner.
Each nominee is also featured in Frankston City News and The Independent Newspaper and Council's website.
Applications are still open for the 2009/2010 program.
